GoRate (“GoRate”, "us", "we", or "our") operates the application GoRate ("GoRate"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of GoRate. We use users’ input to create content. We make sure and guarantee that your Personal Information will be sanitized from your name as you enter it when registering, and as such cannot be in any way, neither by us nor by any other party, associated with you. In other words, your “personal” information is not “personal” anymore, and it is only your activity, associated with your identity-free profile (gender, age, nationality, place of residence, etc.) which is used for content creation. By using GoRate, you agree to the collection and use of such information in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection and Use
While using GoRate, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you, for things such as push notifications and correspondence. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your phone number and email.
Like many app operators, we collect information that you send us while using GoRate. ("Log Data").
This Log Data may include information such as your Internet Protocol ("IP") address, hardware and software types and versions, your activity on the app and associated statistics.
In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze user activity.
We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, push notifications customized to your likings, marketing or promotional materials and other forms of electronic data or information.
Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your device and stored in its memory.
Like many others, we may use "cookies" to collect information. You can instruct your device to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may hinder the functionality of the app.
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. This is one reason why we encourage users to use “aliases.”
